The Team Hazard Rally car is RWD.  Looked like a ton of fun in the trails.  Te Baja is a manual pushing 300hp to the wheels, and the blue/black STi makes 570hp to the wheels.

The guy leading was in a RX8.  No joke.  And since we both have Sony's you're basically a part of the scene by circumstance.

Last cars and coffe here there were 3 RX8s... only mine didnt look like it came from a junkyard.

... and about 30 WRXs all but 1 of which looked like it came from the same junkyard

No my kit lens never goes on anymore.  They were with either the 50mm f/1.8 or 16mm with wide angle adapter.

God I hate the subaru scene

I don't get how they are entertained by meeting up and seeing 30 cars that all look the same. (This meet looks better than most)

We spent about 3 hrs driving seasonal roads and trails around the lake.  Was a good time.

I'm guessing most of the narrow depth of field shots are the 50's?  That would make my mind up for buying that lens for car shooting...

Yeah all shots with the 50 should have been at 1.8 and the wide angle should be 2.8

16mm wide with adapter looks surprisingly awesome

I read bad reviews about that lens and totally wrote it off... still gonna stick with my 24 2.8 + adapter (16 2.0)  :tounge:

Yeah I wrote it off initially but then ended up just going for it due to boredom at work one night.
